Over 163 days of operation during the last school year, the missimo truck toured four Austrian states and visited a total of 88 primary schools in rural areas. The missimo crew inspired 3,979 children with their mobile educational project in 2025/26.

During the 2025/26 school year, missimo: Deine Mission Morgen visited rural primary schools in Lower Austria, Upper Austria, Salzburg and Styria. With the support of the DigiTrainers, children in Years 3 and 4 were able to explore various future technologies for themselves through a series of interactive stations within the two-storey truck’s 100m² exhibition space. As part of the project, 477 teachers were also trained through online professional development sessions – a total of 24 sessions took place during this school year. These sessions not only prepare teachers for the truck’s visit but also help them to make basic digital education in the classroom varied and engaging – for example, with the help of the workshop kit, which every child receives as a gift after the truck’s visit. The kit contains a micro:bit, sensors, a rover construction set and the necessary cables, so that children can continue to programme, experiment and learn both at school and at home.
The missimo truck will now also be taking a break over the summer holidays so that it can resume its journey in the autumn, fully serviced and ready to go. Further information and the option to register are available here.
